Success stories are always inspiring, but when hard work meets determination, the results can be truly remarkable. One such story comes from Ajmer, Rajasthan, where Kushal Chaudhary, a farmer’s son, has topped the Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) 2023 exam, proving that perseverance and dedication can overcome all odds.
Kushal Chaudhary: From Dungaria Kalan to Statewide Recognition
Kushal Chaudhary hails from Dungaria Kalan village in Ajmer. He currently works as a lab assistant at a government school in Tabiji and lives in the police line quarters. Coming from a humble background, with his father being a farmer, Kushal faced the challenges of limited resources but never let them hold him back.
Reflecting on his journey, Kushal said,
“My father is a farmer. I studied on my own and succeeded on my second attempt.”
His story highlights the power of self-study, determination, and persistence, showing that consistent effort can turn dreams into reality.
Ajmer Dominates the Top Ranks
The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) announced the final results of the RAS-2023 examination on October 15. Candidates from Ajmer and Nagaur districts dominated the top positions, with three from each district making it to the top 10. Impressively, the top three ranks were all secured by candidates from Ajmer, demonstrating the district’s rising academic excellence.
Other districts, including Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Hanumangarh, and Bikaner, also had representatives in the top 10, reflecting strong competition statewide.
Vikas Siyag: Another Inspiring Story
Alongside Kushal, Vikas Siyag from Kolayat, Bikaner, achieved the 10th position in RAS-2023. Vikas works as a junior assistant at the Government Senior Secondary School in Ranjitpura.
Vikas shared his journey,
“I cleared the RAS 2021 prelims but could not pass the mains. After that, I gave my 100 percent for the 2023 exam. I was confident this time, and my hard work has finally paid off.”
He dedicated his success to his parents, Nathuram Siyag, a truck driver and farmer, and Pappu Devi, a homemaker, highlighting the importance of family support in achieving one’s goals.
RPSC Recruitment Drive and Future Opportunities
The RPSC interviews for 2,188 candidates concluded on October 14, and the recruitment drive, announced on June 28, 2023, will lead to the appointment of 972 new officers across Rajasthan.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma congratulated the successful candidates, stating,
